The Concerned Citizens group, advised by attorney Gary Abraham, fears the proposed 29 wind-turbine farm will create noise, aesthetic and environmental issues for the community.

Chairman Michael Schneider reminded fellow board members that this is the first written and signed proposal they've had from Minnesota-based Scandia Wind LLC and Havgul Clean Energy AS of Norway.

But shortly after the switch was turned on, problems began.
Residents living on three sides of the turbine began to complain about the noise - a constant metallic drone - as well as light reflecting off the rotors. With the prospect of another 50-kilowatt windmill being built in the next year, the complaints have gotten louder.

Wind turbine accident in Germany Mon, 08 Mar 2010 11:08:27 GMT local news stations say that a violent and unexpected gust of wind caused the rotor to take- off pulling the crane's boom and Jib with it, causing it to collapse. The boom, jib and rotor with its blades came crashing to the ground. The crane remained stable but the turbine components are totally destroyed along with the crane's boom and jib.
