Wind turbines: the whole truth.

A comprehensive analysis of all their properties.

Foreword to Part 1.

In order to make a fair judgment about the possible usefulness of Wind turbines for the production of "clean electricity" (i.e. energy generated by wind becoming a major source of green renewable energy), one should only use arguments based on reality. Statements based on the concerns of Wind turbines makers or on political motivations ought to be treated with extreme caution, as they are suspicious from the outset.

Apart from being rational, the arguments used in a debate should also be underpinned by numbers. And it speaks for itself that no disadvantage of the use of Wind turbines should be concealed. The following paper is a discussion of the main questions that play a role when appraising Wind turbines, namely their characteristics, their benefits and their serious disadvantages which, sadly enough, are often purposefully hidden.

With the necessary clarification of those points, this is inevitably going to be quite a long story.

Foreword to Part 2.

In Part 1, I explain, sufficiently for the reader to make a fair judgement, virtually all the characteristics and the risks of Wind turbines (and windfarms) and the essential information that is being withheld, This Second Part deals on a more profound level with the business risks of Wind turbines. It also focuses on deceptive methods used to encourage the public to believe in the usefulness of wind energy. Some government bodies play a particularly poor role here by encouraging, or at least by not disencouraging, the dissemination of such deceptive information.
